The hall has a sprung wooden floor which makes it ideal for dances as well as shows and sports events. At the far end of the hall is a stage with 2 dressing rooms and a toilet behind.

The seating options are very flexible with modern padded stackable chairs and new lightweight folding tables. The hall can accommodate 150 people at a dance 150 close seated as for a show or 100 seated at tables for a dinner or cabaret evening

The kitchen is very spacious and has new cookers, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge. There are substantial amounts of cups, saucers and plates but not cutlery. Some assorted glassware is available although it is advisable to hire your own for large numbers. There is a serving hatch to the main room. These facilities provide any potential hirer which just what is required for any private party or function.

There is also a further small room off the hall which is mainly used for storage but can be used for e.g. laying out food for a party if there is a bar in the kitchen

The hall has undergone a renovation. The ceiling, lights and radiators were replaced in 2014 along with the frontage of the hall. Following on from this in 2015 the interior entrance doors were replaced and the toilets completely updated to include disabled and baby changing facilities. Also the floor was sanded and resealed
