Notes

Newly refurbished, Britain’s most easterly museum is a first class modern facility which honours the town’s rich maritime heritage. As a result of a grant from the heritage Lottery Fund, this treasure trove has been transformed and doubled in size to welcome a number of new collections. Features include a replica fish market, wheelhouse and new audio visual room. Historic and much loved exhibits also return in appealing and interactive displays. Children and adults alike will enjoy a wealth of exhibits and stories from the fishing industry which created the town.
