Hour Community is a Framlingham charity created to support the residents of Framlingham and its surrounding villages.
The Hour Community Transport Service is designed to support passengers to all manner of medical appointments. So whether you need to get to the hospital, dentist, have a GP appointment, or have a pet you need to get to the vet, we can help you with our wheelchair accessible vehicles. We also have a wheelchair accessible, 13 seat minibus, which can be booked by clubs and community groups for trips out, where public transport is unavailable or inaccessible.
We are delighted to be able to offer residents a number of other services to support the local community. A Community Van to help move furniture in and out of Care Homes or take unwanted furniture to the tip or sold to raise funds for the Charity. Help at Home providing gardening, dog walking and simple repairs. Worry Tree Cafe offering support and friendship to those experiencing Mental Health Challenges, Anxiety, Grief, Depression or loneliness. Forget Me Not Club a dementia friendly lunch club with activities in a safe environment. A Befriending Service offering one to one support within the home and a Trishaw ride service for some fresh air and fun.
We are a responsive charity, and welcome ideas and suggestions regarding the need for further services.
