Dream Care Farm CIC
Our little farm is perfect for people of all ages and abilities. We are providing a space that local schools, parents, and alternative education providers can use to help children learn about growing food, where it comes from, harvesting, cooking, sampling, and selling to the public. They will learn about a healthy diet and how farms benefit them along the way, with the option to follow up any practical sessions on the farm, at school, using resources provided by us.
We run group sessions on set days, Care and Grow for preschool children on a Thursday morning 10 till 11.30 am. Saturday morning Farm Club, for all school age and those in mainstream. Anxious kids, DofE, home education , work experience for schools and colleges, Lapwing alternative education, Atypical education and people of all ages with learning difficulties.
Therapy sessions will be provided for people struggling with poor mental health, benefitting from being outside, helping in the gardens and working on the animal side. We support hospitals, and doctors surgeries.
There are also lots of volunteer opportunities for individuals that wish to support us and our cause, helping us to grow and develop.
The majority of our animals are rescue, or born here, are very friendly and make visits to us very pleasant and rewarding to all.
We are accredited by LEAF for education.

- Notes
Starting as 2 fields with a stream in between, we now have 2 fields linked by a bridge, 1 side paddocks and a mixture of animals ... wild array of birds (chickens, geese etc) Goats, Pigs, Sheep, Lambs and Alpacas and the other side is where we grow ... we have a few tunnels, raised beds (to be extended), allotments and of course an orchard ... a few small meadows that we work the tractors on for mass planting and we have a shop ... this helps us raise funds to keep going.
