The Field of Dreams Farm

Coronavirus Support

During the pandemic we are open. Through the farm shop we are doing various orders and deliveries of food and drink.

The animals are fed by us and volunteers, groups etc daily helping people that are isolated while following the social distancing rules.

General Details

Our little farm is perfect for people with special needs of all ages, young people, schools, colleges, educational groups and the general public.

The majority of our animals are rescue, or born here, are very friendly and make visits to us very pleasant and rewarding to all.

We can also offer visitors a chance to work in the growing side of the farm at certain times of the year, mainly from Spring to Autumn.

We are accredited by LEAF for education.

We have a farm shop which sells produce grown on the farm, and produce bought in from local farms, we offer deliveries via the website for those isolating.

We always need volunteers! especially to ...

  • work in the nursery (Seasonal)
  • help with the animals (Always!)

Notes

Starting as 2 fields with a stream in between, we now have 2 fields linked by a bridge, 1 side paddocks and a mixture of animals ... wild array of birds (chickens, geese etc) Goats, Pigs, Sheep, Lambs and Alpacas and the other side is where we grow ... we have a few tunnels, raised beds (to be extended), allotments and of course an orchard ... a few small meadows that we work the tractors on for mass planting and we have a shop ... this helps us raise funds to keep going.
