Medical Helpline and Medication Information Service

Many older adults will be taking a combination of medications. Understanding the various medications and potential side effects from different can be confusing. If you have recently left hospital or are undergoing treatment and have been prescribed new medication then you may also have questions about how or when to take them. To help, Taking Care offer medical helplines alongside their personal alarm service and GPS alarms.

You can speak to a qualified nurse 24 hours a day about any well being concern you may have, in strictest confidence. Trained pharmacists are available to call 7 days a week if you have a question about your pills or prescriptions.

Our nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our pharmacists are available Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm, Saturday and Bank Holidays 8am - 4pm and Sunday 8am - 12pm.
