Britten Pears Young Artist Programme
Young artist programme:
The Britten–Pears Young Artist Programme offers unique development and performance opportunities in the inspiring setting of the east coast of England. By forming an integral part of the international Aldeburgh Festival and a year-round programme of concerts and events, the Britten–Pears Young Artist Programme has launched many artists' careers.
Masterclasses for singers, ensembles, instrumentalists and composers are held from April until October, each culminating in a performance. There are also opportunities for emerging young professional musicians to work with leading conductors, soloists and orchestral musicians in both the Britten–Pears Orchestra and the Britten–Pears Baroque Orchestra. Each year auditions are held in the UK, USA, Canada and throughout Europe, and recorded auditions are also accepted for those who cannot audition in person.
