Notes

Safer Neighbourhood Teams have identified that young people hanging around is still one of the highest public concerns around anti-social behavior. We can tackle this with meaningfully intervention through Volunteer Police Cadet (VPC) schemes. Seeing young people in a positive way can go a long way to reduce the fear of youths on our streets to the general public. The sessions will be led by a trained facilitator and supported by Out & About’s volunteers. Volunteers are fully CRB checked and are trained in assisting with personal care, administering medication, mobility assistance, communication, disability awareness and managing challenging behavior.
