Footsteps - walking with you, are a local group of professional counsellors working within the ethical framework of the ACC and BACP aiming to support and work with children and young people aged between 11 and 25 years and their families. We offer counselling at an affordable price where money is not a barrier to getting help and support.
We provide support and someone to talk to about mental health and emotional wellbeing issues, such as, bereavement, PTSD, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, divorce, stress, loneliness, panic attacks, sexual confusion, phobias, OCD, abuse, trauma, bullying and suicidal thoughts.
Our ethos is based in Christianity, but our faith won't be explicit in our counselling sessions, and you don't have to be religious to use our service. We support young people from all faiths or of no faith, from various backgrounds, and are committed to treating everyone equally and with respect.
