Acorn Counselling Service

Acorns Service is a service provided by MTCIC, a not for profit organisation. Our service is offered in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.

We provide people of East Anglia, aged 18 years and over, low cost psychological therapies to improve their mental wellbeing. We also provide opportunities for therapists to achieve professional accreditation.

We offer personal and confidential support from trained counsellors who are on placement with us to accrue hours towards their accreditation. Clients can contact us directly or via our website for an immediate consultation appointment after which they will be allocated to a counsellor. Clients will have the opportunity to talk face to face about various issues such as relationship problems, family difficulties, personal crises or bereavement.
