We are providing Foodbank help for anyone in need.
Waveney Foodbank provides food to those whose financial circumstances make it difficult, or impossible, to have enough to eat. We collect and store donated food, parcel it into boxes containing a three day supply with a balanced diet. Boxes of food are distributed using a voucher system, so that welfare professionals make the decisions about who is genuinely in need. Vouchers are available from social services, CAB and a variety of other welfare organisations such as clergy, doctors, housing association.
Waveney Foodbank operates along the Waveney valley from just west of Diss down to Bungay, Beccles, Halesworth, and a large area of rural countryside south of the river down to, and including, Framlingham, Stradbroke and Eye. We operate 11 "Distribution Centres", where people can redeem their vouchers, but are prepared to deliver from our rural centres if certain criteria are met, or supply boxes as required to welfare organisations.
