U3A Lowestoft (University of the Third Age)

An international organisation (founded in France). It is built around the concept of low cost continuing education for the elderly, middle aged, retired and semi-retired people and operates by setting up "interest groups" and arranging monthly lectures.
It does not aim to provide any qualifications nor does it require any. All that is required is a lively mind a desire to keep it that way!
