- All potential members are given one month to get to know the club/sport before being asked to become a member. Supervised 'drop-in' sessions for beginners take place on Sunday mornings from 10 a.m. Experienced rowers/scullers are very welcome and will be integrated into the relevant squads as quickly as possible, with outings taking place on Saturday and Sunday mornings and, in the summer, on weekday evenings.

The club is situated five minutes from the town centre of Sudbury on the Suffolk side of the River Stour, in the middle of scenic Constable country. Age range: 10 years plus. The club is active the whole year round, training through the winter for the Men's, Women's and Veteran's eights heads in March and April while for the rest of the year the club concentrates on fours, pairs, doubles and sculls. The club offers both competitive and social rowing dependent on the member's aspirations.
