We have been organising a variety of virtual coaching activities and challenges during this difficult time and our Club Welfare Officer can provide advice to runners about Covid-19 and the current advice regarding running and socially distancing etc.
Our aims are to encourage running and runners of all abilities to develop their running skills and fitness and also to raise money for local charities.
Our main activities: Woodbridge Charity Round the Town 10km road race in May plus the Winter Cross Country league (one event hosted by us). Participation by individuals and teams in Suffolk (and other) events. We also have a junior section for under 18 year olds.
Any one is welcome to come and run (but, ideally, you should to be able to jog for 30 minutes continuously before starting but contact us if unsure). If you find that what we offer suits you, then you may wish to become a club member after a few trial sessions. The Tuesday run will normally have coached activities. The Sunday run tends to be longer, less structured and is a run for pleasure at your own pace and risk.
