The Age UK Suffolk Advisor Service provides information, advice and guidance to people aged 55+, including those with a diagnosis of dementia. We aim to help you access knowledge, support and practical help to let you live the life you choose. We can link you into other Age UK Suffolk services including befriending, social opportunities, benefits advice (for people who have reached minimum state pension age), volunteering and much more. We also provide domestic information through our helpline.
We will try to answer your questions over the phone and can send out leaflets, information guides and forms tailored to meet your needs. If we can’t answer your questions, we often know someone who can.
We hold some community surgeries and can offer appointments at our walk-in Information Help Desks based at 41a Upper Brook Street, Ipswich; Bury St Edmunds Library, Sergeants Walk, St Andrews St North, Bury St Edmunds (Wednesday AM only); and 112 London Road North, Lowestoft. Please phone our helpline for further information.
For information on any aspect of life, from keeping healthy and active to staying safe on the internet – we have a huge amount of information available that we can tailor to meet your needs.
