Diabetes UK
We are Diabetes UK. We’re here to support everyone affected by diabetes. We’re leading the fight against the UK's biggest and growing health crisis. And it's a fight that involves us all – sharing knowledge and taking on diabetes together. We are also funding research, campaigning and helping people live with the condition.
There are a number of local support groups across the Eastern region, which you can find out about here. Whether you have been diagnosed yourself or if you are simply an individual with a desire for knowledge and an inclination to take part, you are welcome.
Local support groups could include group meetings, designed with the express purpose of providing individuals with a safe, social forum to discuss diabetes and its effects. They may also raise money to promote awareness of diabetes.
