The National teaching & Advisory service (NT&AS)
The National Teaching and Advisory Service provides teaching, advice and support for children with SEN and their families. We work with many young people who are unable to access other education provision because of their learning needs or personal circumstances.
NT&AS works with children and young people 5-19 who have special educational needs or are at risk of exclusion. NT&AS also provides tailored support services for children and young people who are in care
Since 1998 NT&AS has worked with over 7000 children and young people helping them to achieve their potential and overcoming barriers to success. We support children and young people with different needs including those with a diagnosis of Autism or other special educational needs.
We always aim to support young people to develop the academic and social skills to access schools and colleges alongside their peers. We have an established team that supports young people in the East of England. We have teams across England who are able to provide services for young people living out of borough. NT&AS works with children and young people who face difficulty in accessing education for a wide range of reasons. We are committed to safeguarding the young people that we work with and all staff are DBS Checked and have reference and work history checks
