I value my time spent within the School Nursing Team as a Children's health Advisor, working together with other professionals in Health, Education and CYPS (Children & Young People's Service) Team. My confidence has grown along with my knowledge of children and working along side other services available attending meetings and training sessions to improve service offered to families. As part of my role I also worked in the Children Centre's supporting parent's with children under 5 years old.
I have also gained experience of working with children with complex needs within the community supported by the Children's Complex Community Nursing Team. I have completed relevant training such as suction, tracheotomy, oxygen, gastrostomy and emergency medication.
The experience and knowledge received from the time spent with Childrens Complex Care Team has been valuable to me understanding the difficulties that families experience day to day. I would like to increase my knowledge and some how make a difference providing support and care to children and their families within my local community. I am a conscientious, caring, reliable, consistent worker that takes pride in my work, I am quick thinking and able to work under pressure.
I have valued my time working at Babraham Institute Nursery within the under two room, providing individual care and support for each child. Providing weekly observations and termly reports for parents to get invoveld with their childrens developement. I enjoy working as a keyworker and communicating with parents to provide the best outcome for their child.
I have been registered with Ofsted as a Childminder for a year now so have not received my next Ofsted Inspection date which is usually done approx 18 months after opening so I look forward to that soon. I have also applied to offer Tax-Free Childcare and funded places for ages 2,3 and 4 year olds.
