Laxfield and District Museum

16th Century Guildhall. Geology, natural history, farm and domestic tools. Victorian kitchen and village shop displays, costumes. Plus new displays each season. Last year is we will opened an extra gallery. This is on the ground floor and will hopefully address some of our accessibility issues. ENTRANCE FREE

Restrictions to access: The museum is mainly upstairs in an ancient building and therefore cannot be accessed by visitors with wheelchairs. We are opening a new downstairs gallery this year in order to address some of our accessibility issues but there are some steps into the building. By appointment arrangements can be made to make some artefacts, photographs and documents available downstairs.
