Laxfield and District Museum

16th Century Guildhall. Geology, natural history, farm and domestic tools. Victorian kitchen and village shop displays, costumes. Plus new displays each season. This season's new exhibition features the calf door with apotropaic marks which starred in the recent Spellbound exhibition at the Ashmolean. The display includes such marks from the 16th century found in local houses to ward off evil influences. ENTRANCE FREE
