BALLROOM & SEQUENCE at HIAM Sports & Social Club

Saturdays: there are normally two Saturday night Ballroom & Sequence dances, with live music, every month, usually on the 3rd and 4th Saturdays of the month, although that can vary, so check the website. Time 8 til 11 p.m. Doors open at 7:00. Licensed bar and raffle at all dances.  There is a Sunday TEA Dance with live music on every first Sunday of every month, and occasionally on other Sundays, too.

Musicans are asked to play a true 50/50, that is, an equal number of generally alternating Ballroom and Sequence dances to give a fair share to both Ballroom and Sequence dancers. Musicians include favourites such as David Last, Chris Booth, Mark Spafford, Stuart Burr, Andrew Wilson, Gary Cole, Philip Randles, Larry Green, Richard Keeling, Bob Watts and others.   To see which musician is playing on any particular date, see the HIAM website: http://www.hiam.org.uk

There is also a ballroom & sequence dance on Thursday afternoons 2 to 4:30 p.m. with Alan and Val playing music on CDs.

ROCK'N'ROLL:  Hiam also hosts R'n'R nights on the second Saturday of the month

COUNTRY LINE DANCE: There is a Country Line Dance with live music on the 1st Saturday of the month plus a Line Dance Disco on the third Friday of the month.

OTHER EVENTS:  Bingo on Thursday nights.
