Every tradesperson has to pass 12 thorough checks to join us. We check they are who they say they are. And we check they have the right qualifications, insurance and experience. So when a tradesperson’s got the Checkatrade tick, you know you’re in safe hands.

Our checks don’t stop when members join us. Every tradesperson agrees to keep our six quality standards and we check their reviews to make sure they do. These checks also mean we – and you – know their reviews are from people in your area, writing about real jobs.

We guarantee their work

We’re so confident in our members, we guarantee their work for 12 months (for up to £1,000). So in the rare cases something does go wrong, we’ll help make it right.
