Our teachers provide a child-centred approach delivering direct tuition on a 1:1 basis as well as where appropriate an online offer.
Subject to referral criteria being met, the service can provide support for the following groups of children:
- those deemed medically unable to attend school
- who have been permanently excluded
- those with SEND, who are awaiting specialist placement and are currently not in a mainstream school
We are a registered JCQ exam centre and have a GCSE online learning platform for Maths and English. Our young people can also access a range of qualifications at Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills and a suite of NCFE qualifications.
The service works in partnership with families, schools and other agencies in order to provide the best possible support to all our children and young people irrespective of how long or how short their journey with us might be.
