General Details

Welcome to Galop, the LGBT+ anti-violence charity.

If you’ve experienced hate crime, sexual violence or domestic abuse, we’re here for you. We also support lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.

National LGBT Domestic Abuse Helpline

Emotional and practical support for LGBT+ people experiencing domestic abuse. Abuse isn’t always physical- it can be psychological, emotional, financial and sexual too. Speak out, don't suffer in silence.

Sexual Violence Support
Galop provides a free, confidential and independent service for all LGBT+ people who have experienced sexual assault, violence or abuse, however or whenever it happened. We can give independent advice wherever you are in the UK.

For professionals

Galop has over thirty years experience working directly with LGBT+ communities. We provide specialist training and awareness sessions for voluntary and statutory organisations on a range of LGBT+ matters. We deliver easy to understand, interactive sessions informed directly by the needs of LGBT+ communities.
