ActivBoccia

General Details

Boccia is a target game which is played whilst sitting down. Two teams (red and blue), attempt to get their balls closer to the jack than the other team.  It is a sport that is played in the Paralympics at the elite level, where it can only be played by wheelchair users - this session though is aimed at any adults whether wheelchair users or not. This is a great way for anyone to get or to stay involved with a fun and challenging sport.

This is a very friendly group who love their boccia but who also enjoy each others company. This is a very easy game to learn and to play but it is tricky to play well.

These sessions consist of a variety of fun skill-based activities and games followed by a cuppa and a biscuit. The group usually then play games in the second part of the session.
