ActivBoccia

activlives logo

Boccia is a target game which is played whilst sitting down. Two teams (red and blue), attempt to get their balls closer to the jack than the other team.  It is a sport that is played in the Paralympics at the elite level, where it can only be played by wheelchair users - this session though is for any adults whether wheelchair users or not. This is a great way for anyone to get or to stay involved with a n enjoyable and challenging sport.

This is a very friendly group who love their boccia but who also enjoy each others company. This is a very easy game to learn and to play but it is very tricky to play well!

These sessions consist of a variety of fun skill-based activities and games. The group usually then play games in the second part of the session. We are very proud that some of our regular players are now entering Boccia England competitions - Brilliant!

Please do contact us if you would like to give the great sport of boccia a try.
