Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group
Our aim is to promote the study of family history in East Suffolk and in particular to provide support and help for those wishing to trace their family history both in Suffolk and outside the area.
We are a group of family history enthusiasts based near the Suffolk coast midway between Felixstowe and Lowestoft. We hold illustrated monthly talks, usually in the Fromus Centre in Saxmundham. These are open to all who wish to attend, and also on Zoom, but this is only available for members. The talks are on family and local history, often with speakers from the Family History Federation. In the spring and summer we meet in the evenings; in the autumn/winter during the afternoons. Please see our website for our full programme of events.

Our Archives also contain a lot of resources of interest to local historians. Please see our website for more information on all of the above.
