SANEline - mental health helpline

SANEline is a national out-of-hours mental health helpline offering specialist emotional support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers.

Our helpline is here to support you when you feel you have reached a moment of crisis. We know that moment of crisis is different for everybody – some people can reach that point daily, and for some people it is a rare occurrence.

Our helpline volunteers are empathic and non-judgemental, providing a space and time for you to talk about your mental health, or the mental health of someone close to you.

Our helpline is a confidential service for those aged 16 or over. (If you are under 16 you can contact the Emotional Wellbeing Hub or childline)

We also provide a confidential Textcare messaging service. Please see our website for further information and support.
