Leiston Good Neighbour Scheme

We provide free voluntary help including befriending, support to get out to activities, collecting prescriptions and practical help at home such as filling in forms.

Our aim is to promote a sense of mutual support and friendship within the local community and create opportunities for volunteering.

We do not provide transport (for example to medical appointments) but we support people to use the Coastal Accessible Transport Service. We currently cover Leiston, Sizewell and Knodishall.

We also run the community allotment where people can join in with our Wednesday morning session or take on a small plot of their own.
