The East Bergholt Horticultural Society has origins as far back as 1895 and continues to be a popular activity within the small village of East Bergholt and its environs.
The Society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society and endeavours to follow their objectives where practical.

The main aim of the Society [EBHS] is to promote gardening in East Bergholt by staging an Annual Show in September together with other related events: talks, a plant sale and visits to places of gardening interest.
