Age UK Suffolk - Community Engagement

Our aim is to consult with, and obtain the views of, a cross section of older people across Suffolk.  This is achieved by maintaining an independent and varied panel of older people who are interviewed in their own homes.

The outcomes from these consultations are then collated into a report with recommendations which is distributed to key organisations such as the NHS and County and District Councils to help influence health and social care services for older people.  All previous reports can be viewed on the Age UK Suffolk website (

What are the messages you would like to share about ageing and would really make a difference to you as an older person?  We would like to hear from you so that when we are next at a meeting where decisions are being made about the needs of older people we are fully informed in regard to what older people of Suffolk are saying to us.

If you would be interested in joining our panel please ring our information line on 01473 351234 - your opinion counts.
