Teaming Up supports and enables people with disabilities and additional needs to access a variety of age appropriate leisure, recreational, social and well- being activities within their local community in order to develop personal, social and life skills with peers their own age.
Social Groups run fortnightly and provide disabled people with the opportunity to take part in a range of activities at a variety of leisure and entertainment venues for example: bowling, cinema, theatre, meals at local restaurants, swimming, visiting places of interest and much more.
Day Trips run during school /college holidays to support disabled young people enjoy new experiences within new places other than their home town, with the use of public transport being encouraged when possible. Examples include: trips to Cambridge, Norwich etc.
The school holidays clubs are fun packed days out to different locations the young people may have not visited. The days run from 9:30am/10:00am to 3:00pm, depending on the activity. These clubs are unique and aimed at the children not being stuck in a hall, learning new skills, interacting with their community and having fun
