The Mix

Whether you’re 13, 25, or any age in between, we’re here to take on the embarrassing problems, weird questions, and please-don’t-make-me-say-it-out-loud thoughts you have. We give you the information and support you need to deal with it all.

We’ll connect you to experts and your peers who’ll give you the support and tools you need to take on any challenge you’re facing – for everything from homelessness to finding a job, from money to mental health, from break-ups to drugs.

Today's young people face challenges that can seem insurmountable; 1 million young people are not in education, employment or training; 1 in 12 engage in self harming behaviour and 1 in 10 experience mental health problems, things are tougher than they have ever been.

At The Mix, we believe that we have a collective responsibility to empower young people with the support, knowledge and skills they need to lead fulfilling lives.

We’re a free and confidential multi-channel service, providing support by phone, text or 121.

We have a crisis messenger text service which provides free, 24/7 crisis support. If you’re aged 25 or under, and are experiencing any painful emotion or are in crisis, you can text THEMIX to 85258. Our crisis text line could help with urgent issues such as:

  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Abuse or assault
  • Self-harm
  • Bullying
  • Relationship breakdown

Please see our website for further information and support.
