The Drinkstone War Memorial Institute (aka Drinkstone Village Hall) was opened on July 7th 2013.

The Hall can accommodate approximately 80/90 seated, c. 120 dancing. Facilities include a meeting room, kitchen, car park (spaces for 30 cars), outside patio/grassed area. Licensed for music and dancing.

Drinkstone Village Hall Hire charges 2023/24 (as from 1st April 2023) Regular hire: Main Hall Residents £10 per hour Non-residents £18 per hour Meeting Room Residents £6 per hour Non-residents £10 per hour (incl. set up and clear up) Parties and special occasions: Children’s parties (up to age 16) Up to 5 hours in total (incl. set up and clear up) To include use of main hall and kitchen £30 Drinkstone residents + £30 for non-residents Private parties Up to 5 hours in total (incl. set up and clear up) To include use of main hall and kitchen £60 Drinkstone residents + £40 for non-residents Additional hours charged pro rata – ie £12/£20 Weddings: Sole use of building for one day Includes use of tables, chairs, crockery & cutlery etc. Any additional requirements by separate negotiation – with set up hours charged at 2 days minimum hire £150 Drinkstone residents £250 non-residents Elections: Use of main hall and kitchen for one day £300 A refundable damage/breakage deposit is required for all non-regular bookings. Any other events not covered by the above will be charged at the discretion of the Village Hall Committee. A diverse programme of clubs and classes is on offer - costs vary according to activitiy. Tuesday Club (Coffee and Chat), every Tuesday 10.00 - 11.15am. Yoga on Tuesdays 6:30pm - 8:00pm; Wednesdays 9:30am - 11:00am. Tai Chi meets Tuesdays, starting at 11:15am. Art (weekly - 10am-12.30pm), Reading Circle (monthly, first Monday at 2.30pm) Bingo Club (alternate Wednesdays at 7.30pm). Circle Dancing (Thursdays 10.30-11.30am). Local History (monthly, Wednesdays at 7.30pm ~ dates variable). Drama and other activities by Hut Theatre (as and when). Gardening Club (monthly, every third Monday at 7.30pm), Women's Institute (monthly, every second Thursday at 7.30pm).
