Sudbury Ephemera Archive

LOGO

The Archive aims to preserve the details of Sudbury's past in paper form.

By that we mean items such as letters, brochures, programmes, invoices, tickets, fliers advertising events, items that give an insight into the everyday past of the town.  Items that would be thrown away when a shop closes or the elderly downsize or move to care homes. It is often the personal items like letters that open a window into the daily lives of our forbears.

We have Indenture papers, signed comments from Service men when they were recovering from various war wounds, and staying in Belle Vue House, School photos, House Deeds and sales information.
