We provide advice, rapid response assessment and treatment of any adult patient who:
* Is experiencing an acute complication of systemic anti-cancer therapy, radiotherapy or malignant disease itself whether the primary site is known or unknown
* Has signs of symptoms suggestive of metastatic spinal cord compression
* Presents acutely unwell with suspected cancer of unknown primary. To ensure we continue to provide a fast and flexible service this pathway should not be used for patients who are clinically stable. These patients should continue to be referred via the well established 2 week wait pathway
Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.
