In line with government guidance, from 5th November the High Hall exhibition, Tranmer House, shop and second-hand bookshop will be closed. We will be operating a takeaway catering outlet adjacent to Tranmer House from Saturday 7th November, 11.00am - 3.00pm (card payment only).
The estate walks will be open every day. There will be no need to pre-book on weekdays but, to avoid disappointment, booking is essential at weekends. From Monday 16th November car park machines will be in operation. Members can scan their membership cards for free parking. If you are not a National Trust member PayByPhone will be in operation.

Come face to face with your ancestors and explore our High Hall exhibition with stunning replica treasures and some original finds from one of the mounds, including a prince's sword. Visit Tranmer House to delve into the story of archaeology at Sutton Hoo and some of the characters involved, or enjoy the beautiful seasonal colours on our estate walks.
