General Details

I am a registered childminder with a passion for providing a high quality caring environment that enables children to develop. I have a 3 year old son and we enjoy spending our days doing various activities indoors and/or outings which includes visits to the local parks, farms, beaches, playgroups and the museum. I have a lovely garden so the children are able to enjoy a variety of outdoor toys.

I currently provide childcare for children aged 0-8 years old. I also provide school drop offs and pick ups to one of the local school's in Woodbridge.

Learning while having fun with Laura :)
My husband and I absolutely love that Laura watches after our son Jack! Laura has a son of similar age to Jack and they get along super well – we get to see many photos and videos of two of them giggling and playing well together.  We have gotten to know Laura, her son and husband over the last two years and we can say without hesitation that she is a wonderful mom and a great person to look after children.  Laura is a friendly, trustworthy and dedicated person.  She is calm and very observant during the outings with children, which makes my husband and me feel confident that Laura is a super choice for our son.  Jack’s previous childminder had 10 years of experience and we very much liked her, however, she closed her business this year.  We choose Laura to be Jack’s next childminder because we trust that Jack will enjoy his time, be safe and learn about new exciting ways to play.   Laura takes children to a variety of local children groups and meetings, play areas, walks and outings with her friends.  At home, Laura provides a wide range of toys and educational activities such as arts, learning letters and spelling, singing, building things such as an igloo (quite fun!) and many others.  Laura shares Jack’s paintings with us and we absolutely love them - our favourite!  Laura also provides a detailed feedback on Jack’s daily activities, food intake and progress in his emotional and cognitive development.  Laura finds time to ask about Jack’s activities at home and we discuss how and if things can be improved in case there are any issues.  We are very thankful to Laura for all the advice and help with raising our son.  Laura is a supportive and kind mom who is willing to share her experiences and help when others need it.  Laura and I attended an early child development group in Woodbridge when our sons were only couple of months old.  During our weekly meetings Laura was friendly and supportive towards other moms.  She was very engaging and attentive towards James as well as other babies in the group.   After the group session ended, we continued to meet up with several other moms and babies from the group.  Laura took initiative to connect us all and was very kind and generous with her time.  I am very much thankful to Laura for creating such a great support network for us all.  Above all, my husband and I are very grateful and thankful to Laura and her family for all the support and help with Jack.
