Ipswich Locality Homelessness Partnership (ILHP)

Coronavirus Support

Still producing a weekly Bulletin (sent by email) and collating information on service provision during this challenging time

General Details

ILHP : Do nothing separately that we could do better together.

The ILHP is open to any organisation that works with the homeless and rough sleepers in Ipswich.

Its purpose is to:

  • share best practice
  • share information
  • encourage working together
  • inform the public about the work which is being done (including to counteract negative perceptions caused by clients approaching people in town)

The ILHP brings together charities, local authorities, churches, health organisations and funders to create a range of services to meet the needs of people affected by homelessness in the Ipswich Area.  By working together the ILHP can ensure that all elements of the range of services from street homelessness to independent living are delivered both cost effectively and productively.

The ILHP is managed by a Steering Group of Ipswich based providers and agencies.
