General Details

Grandora Care Lodge is a stunning new purpose built small residential home with private accommodation for up to 4 residents set in a secluded spot with stunning gardens. It is in a small tranquil village called Blundeston, on the Suffolk/Norfolk boarder just off the A47 (previously A12). We are around 3 miles from Lowestoft and about 7 miles from Gt Yarmouth.

Grandora is run by a registered nurse working alongside well-trained, respectful, caring and compassionate staff. Personal and practical support will be provided 24 hours-a-day to ensure that residents continue to enjoy maximum independence. We want residents to have peace of mind knowing that help is always at hand and that our facilities provide a home from home environment ensuring this feels like their home.

All en-suite bedrooms have french doors that open straight in to the garden allowing residents to enter the garden from their rooms during the summer months. All bedrooms have there own television and wifi is available in all rooms. There is also a communal day room where residents can also watch television, chat or just relax with other residents.

The south facing garden during the summer months will be an excellent place to relax,  enjoy the views and wildlife of the countryside. The history regarding Blundeston dates back to "Charles Dickens" and would make a very interesting read if you like history.

Grandora Care Lodge looks forward to welcoming individuals that require residential care, working with families and relatives to provide a home from home experience and also providing excellent standards of care to all.
