During this second lockdown our industry bodies have advised that training can continue but the responsibility as to whether training should go ahead rests with the employer and the learner attending. Therefore it will be up to our clients if they want to continue with scheduled training, or postpone it, depending on whether it is deemed essential for them and whether they have furloughed staff or not. We are therefore happy to postpone courses for our clients at no extra cost to themselves and will continue to schedule training for clients as and when required.
MJ Training specialises in First Aid and mandatory workplace training.
We pride ourselves on offering a very high standard of training
During COVID-19 we have been extremely busy since the first lockdown came to an end. With many needing to catch up on their training requirements, as well as our regular flow of work. Due to continuing social distancing we have had to reduce the numbers on our courses, both at our venue in Kirkley, Lowestoft and on our clients sites. During this second lockdown we are able to continue providing Training to those who require it. We understand some clients have had to postpone booked courses and places on our open courses, however we always endeavour to never cancel a course and certainly not just because of low numbers. We are continuing to deliver some online and blended learning, via the Zoom Platform as well.
We are COVID Secure, having invested in a vast amount of extra equipment, including upgrading our CPR manikins to have electronic feedback. We have purchased full bodied manikins to assist with the practical elements of Recovery Position, Top to Toe surveys and wound dressing, so we can ensure social distancing at all times.
Our open courses continue to be small but with no reduction in quality, in fact we believe our learners will be getting an even better experience than pre COVID.
