Setting is open to offer childcare places to children of key workers and for vulnerable children.
I am 41 years old and live with my husband and 2 of my children. My eldest daughter has moved into a house with her fiance. I have 2 very helpful daughters aged 19 and 17 years old. We had our son in December 2006 and were over the moon to have a little man in the family to keep dad company. I am a registered childminder and would describe myself as a caring, bubbly, energetic person who loves working with children of all ages. I provide a safe, happy and caring environment for children to develop in my care. I attend local toddler groups and take regular trips to my local parks and offer a number of activities both indoors and out. I have a National Diploma in Social Care and a Certificate in Early Years First Aid. I have worked in many primary schools whilst on my college course. I also had three years as a Cub Scout leader, which I loved. I am fully aware that childcare needs to be flexible after being a working mum and aim to be flexible regarding hours. I will provide a professional service at the same time as ensuring children in my care learn through play and develop as individuals. I value my business and have built up a clientele over the ten years who have also become very dear friends. I offer a huge range of days out and activities in the school holidays. We have adventures together that the children love and talk about for months. I am now into my eleventh year of childminding and still learn something new everyday. I can offer funded places and can also add you to a waiting list. I truly love my job and found my calling in life.
