Support for people with disabilities
- Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities
Our setting is fully inclusive and our provision meets the individual needs of all children who attend Cygnets, including those with SEND. We work in partnership with parents and other agencies, for example, portage, speech and language therapists and medical professionals. We have experience of supporting children with complex medical needs, physical disabilities, communication and speech delay, autism and global developmental delay. Staff are trained in the administration of Epipens, enteral feeding and manual handling for SEN. Wherever possible, we will access training as necessary to enable us to be inclusive and provide care for all children.
