Daisy Chain Preschool

Pre-School Playgroup

We have been established for 40 years offering a friendly and happy environment for children to develop their skills at their own pace by ensuring we offer a wide range of activities giving them lots of different experiences. This is supported by dedicated staff who continue to update their training in every area of care. Our setting has a well equipped outside garden that we spend much of our time enjoying, linking this with our inside provision. Working in partnership with our parents encouraging their input into their child's development.

Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities

Staff have been trained in Makaton signing and PECS training, we have also undertaken training skills for medical conditions relating to each individual child that needs extra care.

There are no steps in our building which makes it wheelchair friendly and easily accessible to all.

We are committed to meeting the needs of all children with additional needs, which we do so by seeking information, advice and assistance from the Local Authority and outside professionals when needed.

We have 2 members of staff who are SEND trained.
