Learning Disability Adults - Development Through Work @ The Bridge Project Sudbury
Framework provider of day, evening and weekend activities for people with learning disabilities and autism
Places available for adults with learning disabilities to develop and learn in a real work based environment.
Individuals may attend for one day a week, or up to five days a week if space is available. Each service user has their own personal development timetable and key worker. Work based learning opportunities include catering; enterprise skills; film and media; IT; gardening; lunch service deliveries; pottery; and more.
Key skills such as literacy, numeracy, socialization and communication are also developed through the individual's learning plan.
