Auriga Capella

Auriga Capella, a choir for upper voices, draws its members come from a wide area in and around Beccles.

The choir's main rehearsal is held on Wednesday from 6.15-7.30.

There is also a catch-up rehearsal held every alternate Sunday from 4.00pm.  This is for members who are either unable to attend the Wednesday rehearsal, or would like extra input.

Concerts are performed locally and the choir's most recent performance, (All Saints Church, outside Beccles, in Worlingham), April 2017, was a special performance of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. An earlier concert at St Benet's Minster included French and English music from the 17th century.

Auriga Capella plan to perform at The Old Granary Studio, Toft Monks on July 2nd 2017.
Music will include Fauré, Poulenc and Gershwin. Tickets at the door. Or you may reserve seats by visiting the choir's website.

Earlier in the year Auriga Capella recorded Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with members of Norwich Baroque.
