Tree Tops is a leading pre-school and out of hours club, providing quality child care for families in Oulton Broad and Lowestoft.


Set in the leafy grounds of Woods Loke Primary School, Tree Tops is set in a warm modern wood building that was custom built to be a place where young children can enjoy themselves in a safe and nurturing environment. With both indoor and outdoor activity areas we are able to provide the widest range of activities for your child while meeting and exceeding the standards set out in the curriculum.

Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities

Tree Tops has a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator who has attended the latest SEND training, with the deputy manager and manager also SEND CO trained. All our staff are highly trained in all aspects of SEND. All staff have completed mandatory training courses, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Food Hygiene. 
Additional qualifications that staff hold include Makaton, Autism Awareness, S.E.N.D, Common Assessment Framework training, Safeguarding- Understanding the family's journey, Safer Recruitment Practice in Early Years and Childcare Settings, SSOSWB introduction, Channel General Awareness module on The Prevent Duty, Improving Outcomes for children in the EYFS, Leading within an early years setting, EAL training, communicating with Disabled Children, Outdoor Learning, Inspiring a Love of Books, Visual Support Tools, A positive Approach to Behaviour, Inclusive Practice, Observing and Assessing Children 0-5, Thinking About Our Practice- Working with parents and families, Physical Development 24-60 months, Target Setting for Key Persons and Jolly Phonics Training
