St Edmundsbury Life Saving Club
The life saving club for Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and the surrounding areas. The club is fun and friendly, and new members are always welcome!
Our simple aim is to prevent the loss of life through drowning and asphyxiation. This is achieved through teaching the necessary skills to cope with situations where drowning and asphyxiation might occur.
There is an exciting Rookie Lifeguard section for 8-13 year olds, teaching water safety and lifesaving skills at various levels. For older children and adults we provide the Survive & Save programme. In addition higher life support awards and courses for National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches are provided, when required.
