QUALITY ASSURED CHILDMINDER I have a caring and well established setting, with over 30 years experience of childminding. I offer a stimulating, creative and exciting opportunity for your children to thrive in. Both indoors and outdoors your child can be confident and happy that you have chosen me to care for your most treasured possession. I attend Forest School sessions. I encourage the children to learn outdoors within a healthy safe environment where children thrive. I offer Early Education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. I am happy to keep up with new training and workshop guidance. I was awarded my Foundation Degree in Early years in 2012. My last two Ofsted inspections were " Outstanding." I regularly keep parents updated on their children's development through Learning journey's and daily diaries.

I completed module E214 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for my Foundation Degree, Giving an insight to all abilities and the environment which may be the disadvantage to all. I completed accredited SENCo training in 2008. Updating this training in January 2015 when new legistation was introduced. I am also level 2 makaton trained. If a requirement to update or progress with this training arose i would complete it, I have had training in Autism awareness. As an eCat setting for language I completed training called letters and sounds.
I consider my setting to be SEND friendley with a w,c off the playroom. Although I have a small step into the playroom this could be overcome with a small ramp. i would have to consider having a child who needed to use a wheelchair permently with floor space and age of other children. I have a large patio area for playing and activities. this offers space and a shaded area outdoors.
Within my setting I have activities for all developmenr stages. many sensory toys and visual aids.
I would update or under take any training to extend my knowledge and understanding to help any child with a special educational need or disability
