Suffolk Artlink works in community, care and educational settings, using creative activities to engage, encourage and inspire people of all abilities.
Following on from the highly successful Rock Up rock and pop music project, Suffolk Artlink has launched Rock On, offering young people the chance to learn and develop musical skills in a relaxed, informal environment.
Rock On has been developed in partnership with Access Community Trust (ACT), CYDS (Young People Taking Action) project and Just 42.
Music sessions will take place as part of their regular youth club activities so young people will need to sign up to the youth club to access the music sessions: please see below for further contact details.
In addition to regular music sessions, Rock On will also be piloting different approaches to music making in some of the housing support programmes run by Access Community Trust for young parents and homeless families.
Rock On is running a series of DJ workshops throughout the autumn at the Just 42 youth club in Sutton Heath; no experience is necessary and for more details please visit https://www.suffolkartlink.org.uk/our-work/rock-on/
