Don’t worry about being thrown in at the deep end. When you join 1451 you will be with other new recruits and you will get to know the other cadets.

Notes

Cadets must be at least 12 years old and in school year 8 to join, maximum age to join is 17 years old.

We are also looking for adult volunteers to support our activities. You do not need to have an interest in aviation or a military background, just a willingness to help young people! All volunteers will need to complete a vetting process and training package, including Enhanced DBS checks.
