We are open and have all government guidelines in place.
We have a Covid-19 setting policy and risk assessment available for parents/carers to see if they wish.
Unfortunately we are unable to conduct visits at the moment but we are able to provide a video tour before your child starts with us.

Hello and welcome to Little Stars!
Little Stars has been established for 19 years and is Ofsted regulated and inspected.
Our aim is to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for all children within our care. We have an excellent friendly team of staff who together have many years experience and qualifications between them and have been working at Little Stars for a number of years.
We provide a wide range of activities, equipment and resources and we have both an inside and outside play area available for all of the children to access on a regular basis. We have a large inside hall, an enclosed outside grassed area and also an enclosed paved area to enable the children to develop and to learn through all areas of play.
We provide a range of healthy drinks and snacks and if your child has any dietary requirements then please let us know so that we can ensure that all staff are aware of your child's needs.
Within the preschool we follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum) and we ensure that all children who attend have a wonderful "Learning Journey". Your child's Learning Journey is a wonderful record of your child's time at Little Stars and includes observations, photographs and examples of your child's work which captures lots of wonderful memories and those special times! If you would like to see your child's Learning Journey at any time they are available for you to see, please just ask.
We operate a Key-Person system that provides a good link between parent/carer, child and staff member and your child's key-person once allocated is available to speak too at any time. If for any reason your child's keyperson is unavailable a suitable time for both parties will be made.
All staff, students and volunteers have had DBS (Disclosure & Barring service) checks to say that they are able to work with children and all staff are 1st aid trained in a 12 hours Paediatric 1st aid qualification. All staff have attended Safeguarding training and all staff attend regular update training and workshops in a variety of subjects.
Our setting has a SENCO and deputy SENCO (Special educational needs co-ordinator) who are available at all times to help and support parents and can signpost to other professionals and agencies if needed.
At Little Stars we like to organise trips and outings and we love parents to come along too as this enables parents to meet and chat with other parents of similar age children. We accept children in nappies as we have full changing facilities and we can help and support children and parents with potty training if required.
If you would like any further information or would like to arrange a visit then please do not hesitate to get in touch and we look forward to welcoming you and your family to Little Stars.
